GENERAL INFORMATIONFor a number of years we have written and distributed law reviews that summarize legislative enactment's, and sometimes court decisions and attorney general opinions. We have decided to make some of these "old" law reviews available. However, we do it with the following CAVEAT: The law is constantly changing and these law reviews reflect the status of the law when written. They are being provided as a resource in helping you find code provisions relating to the matters discussed in the law review. In addition, they may provide background on the current law. Please do not rely upon them without reviewing the current law. Sincerely,
You can review the enactment of the Ohio General Assembly and a legislative analysis of each act at the following web sites: www.legislature.state.oh.us, www.lsc.state.oh.us, http://OhioActs.avv.com, and www.gongwer-oh.com. When reviewing the analysis, please be sure to use the final analysis. It should be noted that the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Administrative Code, and other valuable information is also available through these sites. Copies of Attorney General Opinions can be found at www.ag.state.oh.us and click on Opinions. Ohio Supreme Court cases are available on line at the following webpage: www.sconet.state.oh.us on the Ohio Supreme Court’s home page, under “Reporter of Decisions” click on “opinions” and the Opinions Search page will appear. Find the “Search/Order by” section and scroll down to “caption” and then type in the name of the case in the “Search For” box. Then click on the area below the heading entitled “case number.” |
