2007 IACP Annual Conference Housing Information
New Orleans, LA on October 13 – 17, 2007
The Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, Inc. has obtained a block of 50 rooms at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel, New Orleans, LA.
The single/double/twin room rate per night is $252.00 + tax, triple occupancy rate $272.00 + tax, and the quad rate per night is $292.00 + tax. The tax rate is 13.0%. Valet parking at the hotel is $31.00 per day (+ tax = $35.03) with in & out privileges. Self parking is available @ a rate of $25.00 per day (+ tax = $28.25)
A credit card deposit (one night’s stay) is required to hold each room reservation, which is on a first-come-first-serve basis. The deposit is an IACP requirement.
The OACP office must send all housing forms and credit card deposits to Travel Planners (IACP’s housing bureau), hence the necessity of your sending information to us as soon as possible. Credit Card Deposit(s) and Housing Form(s) must be received No later than July 23, 2007,
If you are making your room reservation through OACP and wish to be included in the Ohio room block, housing information and deposits should only be sent to OACP, DO NOT forward housing requests to IACP. Duplication will cause both to be eliminated.
Your actual conference registration materials will be forwarded to you from the IACP, and IACP will handle your conference registration. The OACP office staff’s involvement is to assist with hotel rooms for the Ohio room block as well as securing banquet tickets for our Ohio group.
Also, please know you do not have to be a member of the IACP to attend the Conference. We are asking that you follow the above instructions so that you will be assured a room reservation. This will guarantee you a room in our block.
After your form and deposit are received you will be sent an Email Confirmation within five business days. If you do not receive an Email Confirmation, please contact Jackie Jordan ASAP. If the room block is filled, you will be placed on a waiting list and be notified of any openings.
